Is there an age restriction to attend the event? No. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend.
How much do tickets cost? Tickets are $175 (tax included), with a limited amount of tickets available at a discounted price of $100 for Community Living Toronto staff. People supported by Community Living Toronto can be sponsored to attend at the general admission cost of $175.
Is there a discounted price for individuals with a disability? There is no discounted price; however 200 tickets will be available and distributed internally to individuals that Community Living Toronto supports.
Can I request specific seats for the performances? No. Seating will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. There is limited wheelchair accessible seating. Buy your tickets early!!!
Will there be a silent auction? There is no silent auction at this event, however we do have opportunities for participants to purchase items for sale and there will be a 50/50 draw.
Do I need to bring cash? There will be a 50/50 draw and some items for sale. Credit cards, debit cards and cash are all acceptable methods of payment.
How should I dress? It’s a Mardi Gras party! Everything goes and flamboyance is welcome! Beads, beads, everywhere!
Theme colours for Mardi Gras are purple green and gold. Purple symbolizes justice, green means faith and gold is power.
If you really want to get into the spirit, think of a French masquerade ball; masks with feathers, full costumes such as pirates, court jesters, masked and caped courtiers French royalty, etc. The most important thing is to dress for fun and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
But if Mardi Gras isn’t quite your thing, feel free to dress however you would be most comfortable – people wear everything from jeans to pants and a jacket.
Will there be a cash bar? The ticket price includes a host/open bar for the duration of the event with a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Will there be a full meal at the event? There will be a delicious variety of appetizers and hors d'oeuvres provided by Seventh Heaven Event Catering.
How do I get to the event? The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is located on the CNE grounds, at 190 Princes' Blvd. There is TTC access by bus or streetcar; there is also ample parking on the grounds. Click here for full direction details.
How late will the event run? The event begins with a cocktail party at 6:00 pm. The concert ends around 10:30 pm and the after-party begins shortly after so guests can dance the night away. Guests can expect the party to end after midnight.
